Mathematical Sciences Interdepartmental Colloquium Series

I started this interdisciplinary colloquium series to try to offset the effects of `cocooning' and overspecialization. I am pleased to report that it has been a success, spawning interdepartmental collaborations (between for example Mathematics and Psychology, and between Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Philosophy). I will continue with this series next year.
