This discusses convergence acceleration, plus some other Maple warm-up topics. It is in Maple V Release 5 format, so MVR4 may not be able to read it or execute everything if it is readable.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

  1. First convert the source to a Maple-readable .m file by starting Maple V Release 3 and reading in the source code above. This will automatically create the file ellifunt.m in the directory you run Maple from. THIS STEP NEEDS TO BE DONE ONLY ONCE.
  2. Every time you want to use the elliptic functions package, you must issue the Maple commands
  3. Help is available by issuing the command ?elliptic.
