I finally booked a TV and VCR after talking to a very unhelpful person on the other end of the line. (I don't think he was intentionally unhelpful -- he just was.) We can pick it up Thursday and return it Monday. It would be much better if we could have it delivered, but that will cost $20. The other catch is that we have to try to call the A-V person and tell him we want it delivered -- he is rarely in his office and there is no way to leave him a message. Do you think you could arrange for delivery, or get Audrey to call (x 3386) which is what Patrick did? I think it's better if you or Audrey called, since I assume the $20 would be paid by a grant. Patrick suggests doing this right away as A-V was very slow in getting his equipment. The equipment is already booked under "Department of Applied Math" so please mention this when you call. If you can't arrange delivery, I'll try to get the equipment on Thursday, but I'll need some help (preferably someone with a car, as my trunk has a leak and is very wet at the moment). p.
