As a consequence, Fields supports a wide range of UWO-related research
activity in the computational sciences on the UWO campus and at the Institute.
Proposals for Fields Institute support may be submitted by UWO researchers to
the **UWO/Fields Committee**. The membership of the Committee consists of
representatives from the supporting UWO budget units:

- Pei Yu, Department of Applied Mathematics
- Stephen Watt, Department of Computer Science, ORCCA
- Masoud Khalkhali, Department of Mathematics
- John Braun, Department of Statistical & Actuarial Sciences
- Mike Cottam, Faculty of Science
- George Gadanidis, Faculty of
Education
The Committee is presently chaired by Masoud Khalkhali. This committee approves proposals
locally and oversees their submission to the Fields Institute for final
approval. The Committee encourages and welcomes submissions from the UWO
research community.
Here is a page of guidelines for submitting a proposal for a conference or program: UWO/Fields Proposal Submission.
