Modeling the transmission dynamics of West Nile virus among birds and mosquitoes

Abstract

I shall talk about the models for the transmission of WNV between mosquitoes and birds. A geometrical technique will be introduced to study the global stability of the disease free equilibrium. I shall also discuss the possible bifurcations (backward and Hopf bifurcations) of the models.
