Identification of Models in Biology

Abstract
Some biological systems can be modelized as dynamical systems. In biology, such dynamical systems involve constant
coefficients (the parameters) and some functions of time (corresponding to physical quantities: the quantity of a medicine for example).
Some of those quantities can be measured, but some cannot (for practical reasons).
The goal of identifiability is to answer to the problem: ``given the values of certain quantities of the systems, can we deduce the values of the paramters?''
I wil discuss this problem by treating an example and showing how differential and algebraic eliminations can be used.
