Four-Year B.Sc. Honors Programs in Applied MathematicsThe following pages are being revised...please see the Master Timetable for course times.
Students may choose one of the four programs in Applied Mathematics or one of the joint programs in Honors Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Honors Applied Mathematics and Geophysics (Environmental Modelling), Honors Applied Mathematics and Statistics, or Honors Applied Mathematics and Statistics in Environmetrics. Courses may be chosen so that the second year is common for the first two of these programs. The program in Honors Applied Mathematics and Statistics is designed for students who will seek employment in industry after completion. Students may enter third year Applied Mathematics from second year Physics or from second year Computer Science if they have, or can make up, the required prerequisites. Interested students should consult the Department for further information. Students should consult the Department before choosing their principal or subsidiary options. This is particularly important since there may be prerequisites to satisfy in later courses in their programs. With the approval of the Department, other principal courses may be substituted.
