Abstract:
In recent years, game theory has gained attention as a method to explain behavior and evolution. In this talk, I'll describe my work combining classic epidemiology models with Markov decision processes to formulate population games and study problems in public health and evolution. Specific applications to polio and influenza will be discussed.
