Financial Support
All applications are automatically considered for financial support.
The current (as of May 2006)
minimum level of financial
support provided for Canadian PhD students is approximately $18,115 CAN
per year ($17,552 per year for MSc students). International students
are given additional support to compensate for higher tuition
fees. Higher levels of support are also available for students
holding external scholarships, such as NSERC and OGS awards, and
exceptional international students.
The University makes available a limited number of scholarships and
awards. Inquiries regarding financial assistance should be directed to
