Applied Mathematics at Western -- Applied Mathematics Courses

Overview

The Department of Applied Mathematics is located in Middlesex College at the north end of the scenic campus of the University of Western Ontario. The building faces beautiful and well-kept lawns and trees where many students enjoy reading and socializing during warm weather. The building offers modern classroom and computing facilities for the study and teaching of mathematics.

Undergraduate

The Department offers many and varied programs in virtually every area where mathematics is applied.

The programs all have a 3-point structure ...

Useful, applicable mathematics - to describe interesting problems
Numerical/Computational techniques - to yield useful solutions
Application area - where the problems are that we want to solve
